RICHARDS Ted

Ted Richards was born in 1880 at Wail, Horsham Rural City, Victoria.
His parents were Charles John Richards (1844-1919) and Roseanna Elizabeth Rose née Ackland (1850-1927)
Mr and Mrs. Charles Richards pioneered "Christmas Farm" at Gnowangerup, early this century.Ted was one of 11 children.

In 1907 he married Florence Ellen née Hooper (1886-1980)

Ted served in WWI.
In 1922 Ted had several exhibits gaining places in the results: Thoroughbred Stallion; Thoroughbred Mare; Trotting Stallion; Mare with foal and Best Groomed Horse.

 Later Ted and Florence moved from Gnowangerup to Northam.
Ted and Florence appear to have had five children (see photo), boy’s name is Wes.
Ted passed away in 1928 aged 47 and is buried at Gnowangerup.
